Privacy Policy
Overview
DirectQR provides a browser-based tool for creating static QR codes. This policy explains how information is handled when you use directqr.in.
QR code data
For the currently available static QR generator, the URL and customization settings you enter are processed in your browser to render and export the QR code. DirectQR does not require an account and does not intentionally transmit or store the URL you enter to generate a static code.
Technical information
Like most websites, the hosting provider may process standard technical information needed to deliver the site, such as IP address, browser type, device information, requested pages, and timestamps. This information may be used for security, reliability, and service operation.
Cookies and third parties
DirectQR does not use advertising or QR-scan tracking cookies. The site may request resources from third-party providers, including font providers, and those providers may process technical information under their own privacy policies.
Sharing and retention
We do not sell personal information. We may share limited technical information with infrastructure providers only where necessary to operate, secure, or comply with applicable law. Static QR code input is not retained by DirectQR.
Your choices
You can stop using the service at any time. You may use browser controls to manage cookies or block third-party resources. Depending on where you live, applicable law may provide rights to request access, correction, deletion, or other information about personal data.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service changes. The current version will always be posted on this page with its update date.
